Max loves puzzles; especially this one as he loves pirates too. Just look at him concentrating! It does entertain him for quite some time.

Finally, it’s complete.

On the box, it has the following educational guide:

  • Encourage observation and fine motor skills
  • Develop social communication
  • Link with the National Curriculum English

It also has ‘When the Jigsaw is Completed’, ‘Story Telling’ and Find Out More’ questions to allow the child or children to engage further.

Max is a big fan of the children’s programme, Swashbuckle.

The aim of the game is for a group of four children to take on challenges whereby at the end of each one, if they win, the team receive a gem. There are five in total. It does get pretty exciting!

Gem (with the yellow bandana) had her gems stolen from her by Captain Sinker. Cook and Line are her helpers. All are classed as ‘naughty pirates’.

So, I decided to purchase a pirate ship for Max, not realising just how big it actually is! But, he loves it, and that’s the main thing.

The ship came with only one pirate, so I purchased an additional six.

They are some menacing looking figures!
