The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz

Follow Dorothy on an unforgettable journey on the Yellow Brick Road that takes her from her Kansas home, to the sparkling bejewelled Emerald City meeting many new friends on the way.

My Review:

What can I say? And a classic story which pretty much everyone loves, from children to adults.

When I was a little guy, seven or eight, I loved checking out the Wizard of Oz series books at the library. They were the original books, amazingly, dating back to the Dark Ages, which were two or three years before I was born. The illustrations were quaint, a bit scary, a bit icky, but the stories were a delight! I hope Max enjoys the book enough to look into more of the series when he is old enough to read books for older children!

Aww. Im not surprised you loved them. What a classic! Thanks for the information. I had no idea there was series. When Max was younger, I used to sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow for him. He loved it! As I read the story to him tonight, it was his job to say “Follow the yellow brick road”. Fabulous story.
