This 'Trick' Did Not Go Down Too Well

In trying to get Little Yum-Yum to eat more vegetables, I thought it might be a good idea to ‘trick’ him into doing so.

Instead of the usual potato fries, I gave him sweet potato and parsnip ones.

Of course I wish I hadn’t. Just look at his face as I tried to encourage him to take another bite!

Needless to say, the idea didn’t go down to well. In the end, he asked Nanny to make him a different meal.

Bwahahahah! That looks says it all. Poor baby…but he must learn to eat his vegetables so that he can become a big, strong man. (Or so I’ve heard.) Didn’t work for me….I turned into a girl. LOLOL

It was worth a try, Persia, but I’m disappointed Max rejected his food because, as a Chilean teacher friend of mine once told me, “Everything your mother makes for you is good!” (Of course, he took off his wedding ring and said “In America, I’m not married!” Most of the things he said were wiser than that!)
