Handmade Easter Card

On Max’s last day at preschool before the Easter break, he made me this card.

Handmade Easter Card

I just love his drawings!

Max is in the middle, whilst Nanny and I are on either side. I wasn’t quite sure why he looked so sad, so I asked. He said he’s happy, as this picture represents us going on a bear hunt.

A TV short of this story was released on Christmas Eve 2016, and he loved it. He keeps on singing:

We’re going on a bear hunt
We’re going to catch a big one,
We’re not scared
What a beautiful day!

I’m just relieved the bear doesn’t get hurt! I am teaching Max to be kind to animals after all.

For the story:

If you have a little more time, the TV short (the best quality I could find):

Thank you so much for the link. I had no idea! The first time we watched We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, Max asked me whether or not they were going to hurt the bear. I didn’t know, but really hoped they wouldn’t. Phew!

Oooh! I must get my hands on one. I love the story. Shame the bear goes back to the cave sad and lonely though.
Thanks. He was so proud of it. Naturally, I have to put it on the wall along with his other works. Running out of space though!
Max and I had a relaxing weekend. Still a holiday today (Friday to Monday). I hope you and your family enjoyed Easter too. ❀

You’re welcome! Seriously, there are so many books out there, it’s hard to keep up! I read a book (the same book each night) for a week to my son at bedtime, and I’ve not had to repeat any yet.πŸ“š β€πŸ“š
